Highly flexible, ProComp+™ is a multi-modality, 8-channel, artifact-free system for sophisticated monitoring of EMG, EEG, temperature, heart rate, blood volume pulse, skin conductance, EKG and respiration. You can monitor one, all or mix-and-match modalities to fulfill you clinical or research needs-or select the best combination for each patient.

Now, you can create images that your patients can relate to. A waterfall, a happy face, a clock, or a traditional bar and polygraph... you can chose the most appropriate graphics for each patient. The ability to import graphics, animation, and morphed imagery opens a new dimension of biofeedback display, and allows absolute customization of patient protocols.

You can incorporate sound to complement the training image -voices, music, and more - all in real time. The system plays MIDI (musical instrument digital interface), music CDs, wave synthesis, FM synthesis, and voice wave files simultaneously. This means you can place a waterfall image on the screen and play a file of waterfall sounds while the patient's physiological activity controls the volume. Or, you can pre-set a physiological threshold which activates a MIDI or CD tune. The system will even talk to you, so voice recordings can be made into contingent rewards. BioGraph's multi-media capabilities allow you to create the most effective and most specific feedback approach for each patient.

Use Personalized Animation:

BioGraph's wide variety of graphics allows you to develop applications, protocols and feedback screens suitable for any age group. For example, with the feedback display shown above, a pediatric patient can learn the universal language of affect. The smiling or frowning face is an image even young children understand and respond to without having to decipher the meters and numbers. With BioGraph's ability to import and adapt animation to incremental changes in physiology, you can create specific and effective feedback instruments for the individual needs of different patient populations. Evaluate task-oriented performance:

Flexible visual feedback tools:
For the perceptually-and cognitively-impaired, BioGraph™ can be adapted to display simple graphic icons such as squares and ovals that respond to the patient's physiology. Simple spatial-oriented displays are often accessible to the brain-impaired population that still retain spatial recognition abilities but have limited expressive and receptive language skills. Auditory feedback can also be used to reinforce and enhance comprehension. For example, to minimize reliance on a patient's memory, instructions can be recorded and played back during the session. With this capability, these patients can learn to reduce the stress associated with their impairment.

Display up to 11 data channels:

BioGraph™ can be used to monitor and record complex patterns or physiologic activity that can be stored for subsequent review and analysis. This capability is particularly useful in sports physiology and performance enhancement. BioGraph™ has the capacity to display up to 11 data channels on the screen and record 32 channels, in any combination. For example, you can monitor several EMG sites, heart rate and respiration simultaneously. With the ability to monitor, record and play back complex physiology, sports training professionals can enhance their ability to evaluate and improve an athlete's performance.

Reports and Statistics:

BioGraph™ generates comparative statistics for quick analysis. BioGraph™ can perform basic or complex power of spectrum for any defined bandwidth of EEG signals. To ensure accuracy, artifact can be marked and excluded so statistics can be computed from artifact-free data.
